The Only Republican to Vote with Democrats for Composting Humans: House of Bad Cards

There's no easy way to say this, but some people want to get rid of a dignified memorial for someone who has recently passed. Instead, they want to use the person for composted soil.

It's called natural organic reduction.

Democrat Rep. Ana Hernandez authored HB 2200 which sought to "modify cremation procedures and requirements under Subchapter D to the extent necessary to allow cremation through natural organic reduction."

Only one Republican voted to move it forward: Rep. Gary VanDeaver.

The rest of the Republicans had enough sense not to let Grandma become part of the garden.
